I’m just back from Folk Alliance International Conference in Montreal, Canada.
It’s the world’s largest gathering of folk musicians and music industry professionals.
While there was over 30 inches of snow on the ground outside but the music inside was hot!
There were acts from all over the world showcasing and looking for booking at upcoming festivals and concert series.
I had a blast performing four private showcases over four nights.
It was wonderful to catch up with friends and to get in a couple of song co-writes with artists!
The after-hours jams firing up around 2:30 am were just “Smok’n”! Every year I tell myself, I’ll skip the late-night jams. Ha! Right…. Sleep is for wimps!
